So If i were to buy this hair how many wefts woud I
need to make the same Volume as the 4once of Bohyme? or even
only 5 wefts of handtied Bohyme? anyone got Bohyme and Russian
hair and can put it together and let me know ?
put
it this way you all have had the Bohyme handtied and you know
how little you get on 1 weft .
.ok here it goes I will
ask this stupid question well how many wefts would it take to
make a nice fat 1 row weft Hand tied ? of Russian Hair?
GULP - HELP ANYONE I WANT SOMEEEEEEEE Russian HAIR -
I dream
of hair I can't have enough hair ,,I just got more hair 2
weeks ago Bohyme bodywave NOW I WANT Something better ? I AM

http://www.russianhair.net/ will have to chime in
here to give you the specifics, but I can tell you that a
custom-width weft that was 14" wide and 12" long weighed .9
oz. I wear about 4 oz., so for me, four wefts is just enough
hair.
I'm now in my 10th week with my first batch of
Russian hair and it has just as much body and shine as it did
when I opened up that tissue paper wrapper and beheld its
beauty the first time. You really can't imagine until you've
worn this hair how truly amazing it is! I probably run my
fingers through my hair a hundred times a day (no
exaggeration) just to feel it.
As long as you treat
the wefts carefully I believe this hair will last years. At
first I went through a complicated blow-drying and styling
ritual with it because I that's what I was used to with the
Indian hair I'd worn. Then I realized that it is incredible
just air dried. Nothing more. The straight texture does this
little flippy thing at the ends that looks like I spent a
half-hour with a blow-dryer and curling iron. It even looks
amazing when it is filthy dirty! I mostly just wake up in the
morning and give it a brush and I'm good to go. No kidding!
And the wefts are tiny and tight and flat-laying, making my
installs unnoticeable and so
comfortable.

Thanks you are so
fast.
I think i get it but didn't you get your custom
made ? and I think I would need like only 11 in wide from
front of ear to front of ear sort of thing and I want like
18in long, But I don't think I am gettin it -?
you wear 4oz but its 9oz a weft? So 1 weft you had made is
9oz in weight ?
Sorry I think I am tired
ok maybe people from http://www.russianhair.net/ will set me straight
But I only
want to wear 1 weft so I think I would have to have this
specially made ? Like I may have to buy bulk hair ? and
Say I want this all on 1 weft I wonder if they do that
anyway's thanks so so much.. I am sure I will get lot of
wonderful info tomorrow.. Thanks so so much

Pzactly
! Bring on the pics!!
I didn't dare
wash or do anything with my hair cuz it's BULK and I'm so damn
afraid I'm gonna lose ONE STRAND that I just looked at it,
drooled, took pictures, and ejaculated. Woops, scratch that
last part. Er, I meant, I just um wet my pants. No, scratch
that. I mean, I um, SMILED REAL BIG.
This morning I
was doing the math (OK, "JUSTIFICATION") in my head. It's not
really *THAT* expensive considering its (potential) longevity.
And also considering how fabulous it's gonna look along the
way. . .it all just evens out nicely. I'm buying more
today. | |

OK, I've had this Russian
hair in for about 20 hours. YES HAIR PICS IS COMING however
I've had few technical difficulties (explained below. . .)
1) I've worn extension hair for *years* and have never
EVER experienced anything like this. The Indian and Asian
hairs are simply heavier, and, as such, have a flattening
effect on my otherwise fuzzy-ish hair. This has been good but
has usually presented a blending issue.
2) The
lightness of the Russian hair is AWESOME. It's weightless it
seems. You DO NOT FEEL like you're wearing extensions. There
are many advantages of this: First, you also get a LOT of
volume with much less hair. I have maybe 2 oz. of Russian hair
in. I mixed it with some ... (bottom layer) because i
wasn't sure about the girl who was doing the install. Once I
was OK with her we started with the Russian. Second, you get
much less pulling on your hair, regardless of install
technique, becaue this hair just DOESN'T pull or weigh down
the attachment.
3) BABY THIS HAIR IS VIRGIN with
cuticles fully intact. Here's how I know. It is EXTREMELY
INTOLERANT of fold-over. This is exactly how cuticle hair
should behave. My girl folded over some pieces a bit too much
and I've got to get those redone because I'm having a riding
up problem as the hair rubs against itself. (My installer
hadn't done pinchbraids before so we were focusing on that,
and neglected to cut the tails short like they need to be.) So
unfortunately I have a lot of puffiness wherever the tail is
too long on the pinch braid. WOOPS!
4) Having said
that you need to re-think your install strategy. Blending will
be *much much less* of an issue. MUCH LESS. As in, no
blending. Hardly any issues with that blunt-at-the-bottom look
from cutting. My hair is very fine but not silky thanks to my
coloring exploits which I plan on continuing. Nothing about
this hair looks added, or fake, which I'm trying to decide
whether or not I like . I'm not exactly
what you'd call a natural gal. LOL.
Pics to come later
today. | |

Thanks for your review,
... . I think you described the differences between Russian
and some other kinds of extension hair perfectly. The
weightless aspect is the part I've had the hardest time
describing. The word I keep coming up with is "fluffy."
Because of the fluffiness of the hair, it gives a lot more
volume and "bounce" even with much less extension hair.
Yes, you can sure tell the cuticle is intact because,
like your own hair, if it rubs against itself it will bunch
and tangle. And yes, you can pretty much put this hair in and
not worry about blending because the texture is so much more
like Caucasian hair. It is as if you grew a thicker, healthier
head of your own hair.
For me, I've always worked to
get the most natural look possible, so the Russian hair is
perfect. I know that some women want to achieve a 'fantasy
hair' look with extensions. I think the Russian can pull this
off as well, but would require putting in a few more ounces to
make it look outrageous. _________________

admitting our powerlessness over the disease. . . and
only a power greater than ourselves (would that be Evil

OK, I don't even know if
words are even needed with these comparisons but I know
there's been a lot of questions about the weft/density between
these two. I would like to point out (and you can very well
see), the Bohyme weft has a thick beard. You can see more
density around the weft due to the beard coming over on the
other side. As soon as the beard ends, look how the density of
the hair falls to half or less. With the Russian hair from
http://www.russianhair.net/, you can see you don't lose density and the volume of
hair through the length is all right there.

Unfortunately I'm living
that reality right now. I've got two rows of the Bohyme
installed on the bottom of my hair and the rest is russian so
I'm sporting a fairly major mullet. It's kinda funny, after
all these installs and all my supposed expertise. Anyway I'm
going back to my gal today to see if we can fix things a bit.

Yes! I trained a new gal -
a little Cameroonian expert braider - she did modified
microbraids and I showed her how to do it with the string to
tie it off. Voila one AMAZING headful of little
Pinchbraids!! | |

I

(I'm also wondering about blending the two types

Oooo, I want to run away and hide now.
LOL! Kidding!
There's two kinds of ...; virgin and
processed color. Both have the no fold over hair at the weft.
It is Asian so the ... virgin is a different texture than the
Russian. ... virgin is a thicker hair strand and dries
straight. There's the little telltale "c" flip on the end
which is a signature of Asian hair. Any good virgin hair is
going to last and the ... virgin holds up really well. I
haven't worn Russian yet but I have absolutely no doubt it
will perform for the long haul.
... processed to color
is exactly like ... SS in appearance and texture. The ...
613 holds up like the ..., imo. It's really one of the only
comparable 613's out there in that it doesn't turn to ****.
But yanno, it's processed and the hourglass flips on it after
an install. Mileage may vary.

I'm

I wore the russian for 2 years (not from http://www.russianhair.net/, someone
local the hair rocked but her wefts were ****, but what did I
know then ) and was
spoiled, your hair is as close as I have found for colour
match and quality. _________________
